Happy Easter

We created some Easter inspired sun catchers to brighten up our homes now spring has finally has arrived along with the sun. Hopefully we will have lots of sunny days to play outside enjoy over the Easter holidays. Enjoy the break everyone! 

Shopping Fun

We have been working hard in school this term to earn plastic money for our class shop. Each week the girls calculate how much the have earned so far and estimate how much more they will need to afford the item they want. On Friday afternoons the shop is opened and the girls work out what change they are owed. Our most popular items of stock at the moment include highlighters, pens and strangely enough...white tack! 

Spring has sprung

Room 7 has been slowly working away at these beautiful blossom tree creations. We uses sponges, paint brushes, a mixing pallet and lots and lots of cotton ear buds. Feel free to ask us how we made them but we should warn you, you're going to have a very tired arm by the time you are finished! 

Our Gymnast continues to excel

Well done again to this young talent. Another win for her, this time coming third and receiving the award of a certificate and a badge. It's great to see her hard work paying off. I wonder what will she achieve next?

 

Sleeping Beauty came to St Clares

We had a lovely surprise today when M&M productions came to St Clares to perform Sleeping Beauty for us. It was quite the production. We especially loved when they made Mr Walsh and Mrs Bradley join them on stage to dance for us! I wonder what they will perform next year? 

Skip Counting Fun

The girls are working hard to learn to skip count forwards and backwards in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and 10s.  They are nearly ready for multiplication in third class. Well done to everyone for working so hard at this.
