Our Gymnast continues to excel

Well done again to this young talent. Another win for her, this time coming third and receiving the award of a certificate and a badge. It's great to see her hard work paying off. I wonder what will she achieve next?

 

Sleeping Beauty came to St Clares

We had a lovely surprise today when M&M productions came to St Clares to perform Sleeping Beauty for us. It was quite the production. We especially loved when they made Mr Walsh and Mrs Bradley join them on stage to dance for us! I wonder what they will perform next year? 

Skip Counting Fun

The girls are working hard to learn to skip count forwards and backwards in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and 10s.  They are nearly ready for multiplication in third class. Well done to everyone for working so hard at this.

So much LOVE in room 7 this week

Congratulations to this sports star

This week we learned about this star's achievement in Killykeen Forest. She won this medal for coming 5th in a swimming and running race. Well done!

Oral Stories

This term we are working on narrative writing. Here, you can see the girls using story cards to help plan and share their stories orally before writing them. 

A lovely day for a snowy stroll

Room 7 had quite the walk to swimming this week. Just as we left school, a blizzard of snow hit us. Thankfully we were all heavily clothed with coats, hats and scarves so we carried on and it was quite a lot of fun.  Fingers crossed it doesn't snow next week.
