A Winter Wonderland of Clay

Our winter clay creations were such fun to make. We can't wait to bring them home.

We composed Christmas melodies

We are a talented bunch here in room 7. We worked in small groups to create some Christmas music. 

There was so much energy in room 7 today!

We had balloons of fun experimenting with static electricity today. Apologies to all the parents for sending the children home with messy hair. Oops! 

Squares are everywhere!

It was measuring time again in room 7 but this time we were measuring the area. I wonder how many squares we used altogether...

It's raining indoors!

Ms Briody taught us all about condensation and the water cycle. 

New Maths Games

We spent today learning how to play all our new maths games for days when it's too wet to go outside at lunchtime. Bring on the rain!! 

Dance with Kevin

We are loving being back dancing with Kevin again this year.

Our Crazy Clay Creations

We are so pleased with our clay artwork this week. Thankfully Mrs Donegan lent us her glue gun so we could fix some of the broken pieces. 

Measuring Fun in Maths

We spent a lot of time this week measuring using non-standard units such as lollipop sticks and hand-spans.   

Drama Time

We worked hard to stay in characters but some students are just too funny! 

The Skeleton

We were learning about the names of the bones on a skeleton. Finding where the bones go was a little tricky! 

Going Back in Time

We were relieved that we don't have to write like our grandparents. Pens and pencils are so much easier! 

New pupils
