We have been learning tin whistle
with Pauric on Wednesdays. Remember to keep practising at home!
So far we have
learned one tune, “Twinkle, Twinkle”
Swimming started in January and
continues on Thursdays until 25th February.
We received our healthy school flag. We are always trying to be healthy by staying active and eating healthily in school. We have our
breakfast every morning and we now have our school lunches every day to enjoy.
This week we continued with Data
in maths. We learned what a bar chart is and how it helps us to represent
information we collect.
We drew a bar chart to show our favourite colours.
We had
a chance to go out and count the different colour of cars in the car park. We then drew our own bar charts in our copy.
We were very excited this week
when we got to see a production of Cinderella.
We really enjoyed watching it
and singing along to all the songs.
This week saw the start of
Spring.
The first day of Spring is St. Brigid’s Day.
We decided to make some
St. Brigid’s Crosses.
They look a little different to the traditional cross
but we think they look pretty cool and colourful.
